Asian Tech Press (Dec 23) -- Pfizer has received emergency use authorization from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for PAXLOVID, an oral anti-coronavirus drug manufactured by Pfizer, to treat patients with covid-19 who present with mild to moderate symptoms.

Following review by the Food and Drug Administration, the current population for the Pfizer Covid-19 pill is patients 12 years of age and older who weigh no less than 40 kg.
