Pfizer invests $743m to expand Singapore plant

Asia Tech Wire (July 23) -- U.S. drugmaker Pfizer has invested $743 million to expand its Singapore plant.

Pfizer said on Tuesday it has invested S$1 billion ($743 million) to expand its automated manufacturing facility for active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) in Singapore.

The investment will create more than 250 new highly-skilled jobs by 2026, on top of hundreds of existing employees in Singapore.
