Asia Tech Wire (Oct 9) -- OpenAI announced on Wednesday that it plans to open an office in Singapore later this year.

The ChatGPT developer has begun building its team in Singapore.

OpenAI said Singapore will serve as a hub for the company to support its customers and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.

And its Singapore team will help strengthen relationships with local and regional governments, businesses and organizations, OpenAI said.
