Asia Tech Wire (Sep 13) -- A UAE government-backed company is in talks to invest in ChatGPT developer OpenAI, according to the Wall Street Journal.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the report said MGX, a fund created by the UAE earlier this year, aims to invest in artificial intelligence projects.

However, the fund has yet to finalize the size of its potential investment in OpenAI.
