Asia Tech Wire (July 29) -- Chinese tech giant Huawei will launch the latest version of its advanced intelligent driving system in August.

Huawei partner Seres hosted the 400,000th new vehicle rollout and 70,000th M9 delivery ceremony of AITO Wenjie in Chongqing on Monday.

According to Richard Yu, chairman of Huawei's Intelligent Automotive Solutions BU, Huawei will make version 3.0 of its Huawei Advanced Driving System (ADS) available in August.

Yu added that the Wenjie M7 and M9 will upgrade their intelligent driving systems to the version 3.0 one after another in September.
