Asia Tech Wire (July 1) -- Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng Inc. (9868.HK, NYSE: XPEV) on Monday reported it delivered 52,028 electric vehicles in the first half of the year, up 26% from a year earlier.

Xpeng said it delivered 10,668 electric vehicles in June, up 24% year-on-year and up 5% from the previous month.

Among them, the Xpeng X9, a luxury seven-seat electric MPV, saw 1,687 units delivered in June and a total of 13,143 units over the six months since its launch.
