Asia Tech Wire (July 10) -- South Korea's Samsung Electronics will unveil its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered foldable phones Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 at a global launch event in Paris, France on Wednesday.

New products such as the Galaxy Ring, a smart ring, Galaxy Watch 7, a smartwatch, and Galaxy Buds 3, a Bluetooth headset, will also debut at the launch, according to the latest market news.

Both of the new AI phones feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen3 For Galaxy subscription chip that provides AI translation capabilities to the phone's built-in apps as well as apps like WhatsApp and KakaoTalk.

Featuring a customized Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, both of the new AI phones offer AI translation to the phones' built-in apps as well as apps such as WhatsApp and KakaoTalk.

They will enable dual-screen simultaneous translation when folded at 90 degrees, i.e., the outside screen displaying the other party's language and the inside screen displaying the phone owner's language.

In addition, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 will come with some of the Galaxy AI features that are available on the Galaxy S24 series.
