Asia Tech Wire (Sep 26) -- Elon Musk's social media platform X will apply to resume its services in Brazil, according to Reuters.
Citing people familiar with the matter, the report said that X will file documents with the Brazilian Supreme Court and request restoration of its services in Brazil by Monday.
After suffering a blockade at the end of August, X recently made concessions and cooperated with the Brazilian Supreme Court by agreeing to appoint a legal representative and pay a fine of more than $3 million.
In exchange for lifting the ban, the Brazilian Supreme Court also previously demanded that X block accounts that spread hate speech and misleading information.
