Asia Tech Wire (Sep 10) -- Tesla was once again the top selling luxury brand in the Chinese auto market with about 16,200 units in the first week of September.
And the Tesla Model Y continued to dominate the top delivery list in the Chinese passenger car market with about 56,000 units in August.
Up to now, Model Y became the delivery champion of the Chinese passenger car market from January to August 2024, with deliveries totaling more than 354,000 units.
Tesla extended its five-year interest-free financing policy until September 30, under which Chinese consumers can save up to more than 26,000 yuan in interest on Model Y and Model 3 purchases.
