Asian Tech Press (SEP 27) -- Madhav Sheth has been in charge of operations for Realme India and Europe since Realme operated as a sub-brand of OPPO and even after it was spun off as a separate company.
Madhav Sheth's position in the earliest days was that of CEO of Realme India. Then in August 2020, Realme announced that he would be the CEO of Realme Europe in addition to his role as the head of the India division. Just recently, Madhav Sheth announced his new position as CEO of Realme Latin America via Twitter.
Realme already operates in six Latin American countries, including Brazil, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. It sells a selection of products in the region, including the Realme GT Master Edition, Realme 8 series, Narzo 305G, Realme 7 series, Realme C21, Realme Watch S, and Realme Buds Pro.
Started operations in 2018, Realme currently operates in more than 30 countries/regions. Its portfolio has expanded beyond smartphones, and related accessories and now includes smart TVs, laptops, tablets, vacuum cleaners, air purifiers, and lifestyle products such as beard trimmers and electric toothbrushes.
Realme, a Chinese smartphone and IoT product manufacturer headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, was founded on May 4, 2018, and initially focused on the Indian market. In July 2018, Realme separated from OPPO and was run by Shenzhen Realme Mobile Communications Co.
