Asia Tech Wire (Nov 8) -- German software company SAP will hire "overproportionally" in India, Chief Executive Officer Christian Klein said on Wednesday.

With the massive recruitment drive, he believes India will soon be the home to the largest number of SAP employees, outnumbering its German headquarters.

Klein disclosed that SAP will direct most of its future investments in research and development and customer service to India.

He added that India is one of the company's top 10 markets in terms of revenue and one of its fastest growing markets.
