Asian Tech Press (May 6) -- Sales of Nintendo's best-selling gaming console Switch are expected to decrease by 10% to around 20 million units in FY2022 versus FY2021.

This is a 30% decrease from the peak of 28.83 million units sold in fiscal 2020.

Although demand is strong, procurement of parts is delayed and production cannot fully start due to chip shortages and chaos in the logistics network.

The disruption in the global supply chain is having an impact on the best-selling items around consumers.
