Asian Tech Press (May 12) -- Sony has registered a new model of PS5 in Japan with a processor that may use TSMC's 6nm process.
According to the registration information, the new version of the PS5 model has the code name CFI-1200.
Sources had revealed that the new PS5 will feature a processor manufactured by TSMC's 6nm process, upgrading from TSMC's 7nm process.
In addition, Sony will redesign the internal structure of the new PS5, and not change the appearance of the console.
