U.S. investment bank Morgan Stanley is currently in talks to acquire stakes in South Korea’s top cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb, according to local news media’s reports.

According to reports, Morgan Stanley is considering investing 300 billion to 500 billion won ($254 million and $441 million, respectively) through Vidente Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and seller for broadcasting equipment, which owns 10% stakes in Bithumb.
