Asian Tech Press (Feb 8)-- Indian billionaire Gautam Adani replaced Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani to become the new richest man in Asia.

The 59-year-old founder of India's Adani Group has a net worth of $88.5 billion as of Tuesday, ranking 10th among the world's richest people, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Adani replaces Mukesh, whose net worth was $87.9 billion, as the new richest man in Asia.

In addition, Adani's net worth now exceeds that of Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, whose net worth has now shrunk to $88.5 billion.
