Indian medtech startup SigTuple raises $4 million in extended Series C funding round

Asia Tech Wire (Aug 7) -- Indian medtech startup SigTuple on Tuesday said it has raised 330 million Indian rupees ($4 million) in an extended Series C funding round.

The round was led by Indian venture capital firm SIDBI Venture Capital Limited (SVCL), with participation from existing investors like Endiya Partners and players from the healthcare industry.

SigTuple will use the fresh capital to drive the company's geographic expansion plans, expand its product portfolio, and support regulatory clearances.

Founded in 2015, SigTuple's goal is to utilize machine learning technologies in artificial intelligence to provide accurate and safe, timely and efficient diagnosis for patients.

In April 2019, SigTuple announced the completion of a $16 million Series C funding round led by Trusted Insights, with participation from Accel Partners, Chiratae Ventures, and Pi Ventures.
