Asian Tech Press (Mar. 9) -- Google confirmed that the official version of Android 12L will come to Samsung, Lenovo and Microsoft devices in late 2022.

Andrei Popescu, vice president of Android engineering at Google, announced on Monday that Android 12L will be delivered to Samsung, Microsoft and Lenovo later this year.

Android 12L is a new operating system built for tablets, folding screens and other large-screen devices.

In order to provide users with a better split-screen experience, Google has improved all applications, with Android 12 and later versions allowing all applications to enter multi-window mode.

In addition, Google has optimized information notifications, multitasking, and page layouts for folding screen models, enabling users to use side-by-side, overlapping multi-window settings.
