Asia Tech Wire (Sep 11) -- The shipments of Apple's iPhone 16 series will surpass those of its predecessor, with global shipments expected to reach 73 million units in 2024, analysts at market research firm TechInsights have predicted.

TechInsights expects the iPhone 16 Pro Max to be the highest-selling model in the iPhone 16 series, accounting for 35% of total sales.

Apple on Monday unveiled the iPhone 16, its first phone designed for its artificial intelligence platform Apple Intelligence, at a starting price of $799.
