Asia Tech Wire (Oct 21) -- Apple's iPhone 16 series, which was released just one month ago, has seen a price cut during this year's Singles' Day shopping festival in China.
Notably, this is the first price cut on an official channel since the release of the new iPhones.
According to Apple's official flagship store on Chinese e-commerce platform Tmall, during the e-commerce shopping festival, consumers enjoy different levels of discounts when purchasing iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, AirPods and other series products.
Specifically, Chinese consumers can receive a 500 yuan coupon when purchasing any of the iPhone 16 lineup on Tmall, which lowers the starting price of the iPhone 16 to 5,499 yuan, and the starting price of the iPhone 16 Pro Max to 9,499 yuan, which is close to the price of the three-party channel.
In addition, consumers can also enjoy an additional subsidy of up to 1,100 yuan for trade-ins.
