A senior Ford executive said that Ford's electric vehicle battery joint venture with SK Innovations will enter Europe.

SK Innovation had no comment on the matter.

Ford and SK Innovation have signed a joint venture memorandum to form a joint venture called BlueOvalSK in the United States and produce cells and battery packs there. BlueOvalSK is said to achieve mass production around 2025, with an expected annual production capacity of 60GWh.
