Asia Tech Wire (Aug 9) -- Chinese electric car maker BYD announced the official opening of its first dealership store in Poland on Tuesday.

Stella Li, BYD's executive vice president and president of BYD Americas, Michael Shu, general manager of BYD's European automotive sales division, and representatives from Poland's largest automotive dealership group, Cichy-Zasada, attended the opening ceremony.

The store sits in Warsaw, the capital of Poland.

BYD announced in May that it would launch the Seal, BYD SEAL U and Dolphin models in Poland.

In addition to Warsaw, BYD also plans to open stores in Polish cities such as Poznań, Wrocław, Kraków and Szczecin.
