Asian Tech Press (Nov 17) -- Baidu released its financial results for the third quarter of 2021. The earnings report showed that Baidu's revenue for the quarter was 31.92 billion yuan, compared with 28.2 billion yuan in the same period of the previous year and market expectations of 31.814 billion yuan.

• Revenue from Baidu's core business was 24.7 billion yuan, up 15% year-on-year.
• Online marketing revenue was 19.5 billion yuan, up 6 percent year-on-year.
• Non-online marketing revenue was 5.2 billion yuan, up 76% year-on-year.
• Revenue from video streaming platform IQIYI was 7.6 billion yuan, up 6% year-on-year.

Q4 revenue is expected to be 31 billion yuan to 34 billion yuan, up 2% to 12% year-on-year, and Baidu's core business revenue is expected to grow 5% to 16% year-on-year.
