Asia Tech Wire (June 5) -- Chinese tech giant Tencent (0700.HK) has relocated its office space in Singapore, according to Bloomberg.

This week Tencent arranged for its employees to move from a WeWork office at 30 Raffles Place into CapitaSky, a 29-story tower in Singapore's central business district (CBD), the report said.

Tencent currently occupies one half, or half of the tower's 56,000 square feet of flexible office space.

When the lease expires, Tencent may move employees from another co-working centre in CapitaSpring to relocate to CapitaSky, Bloomberg said.

The Work Project, the operator of CapitaSky and CapitaSpring, confirmed Tencent's move.

A Tencent spokesperson said that the group recently relocated one of its offices from 30 Raffles Place to CapitaSky, and that the group is happy to continue its business in Singapore.
