Asia Tech Wire (Sep 19) -- OpenAI said Wednesday it has hired Leah Belsky, former chief revenue officer at education technology company Coursera, as its first general manager of education.
She will be responsible for boosting OpenAI's business in K-12, higher education and continuing education.
And Belsky will help implement OpenAI's solutions in the education process.
Following the launch of ChatGPT in 2022, the product received a lot of interest from students, many of whom used the tool in their courses.
In response, OpenAI launched ChatGPT Edu in May, a version of ChatGPT built for universities to responsibly deploy AI to students, faculty, researchers, and campus operations.
