The global share of OLED televisions is set to reach double digits for the first time since LG Electronics launched its first OLED TV in 2013.
According to the latest data from Omdia, a market research firm, OLED TVs are expected to account for 10% of the global TV market share (based on sales value) in 2021, up from 7.4% in 2020.
Concurrently, LG Display, the world's only company that mass-produced OLED TV panels, increases its panel production capacity, which attracts more TV manufacturers to launch new OLED TVs and accelerate OLED TVs' popularity.
