Nidec will form an alliance with 20 companies to get involved in original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of pure electric vehicle (EV) parts in China.

The plan is to gather related companies in the vicinity of the world's largest motor manufacturing plant.
Nidec aims to OEM a complete set of parts related to vehicle driving and has already started negotiations with several companies. Hon Hai Precision Industry will also be involved in the OEM of electric vehicles.
