Asian Tech Press (OCT 13) -- Digital currency exchange Coinbase has announced that it will launch a niche market segment that will allow trading users to generate, collect and trade NFTs.

Coinbase said the marketplace segment dedicated to NFT trading will be called Coinbase NFT. The platform will also add some social elements in addition to trading. It will also enter the so-called content creator economy, which refers to online creators earning income by posting videos or producing other online content.

In the future, Coinbase will be competing with several start-ups in the NFT trading market, such as Gemini, Binance and OpenSea.
