Asian Tech Press (Nov 2) -- Apple's first mixed reality (MR) headset will be launched next year at the earliest, Taiwan's Economic Daily News reported Tuesday, citing Bloomberg.

Market rumors suggest that the new product could cost as much as about $3,000, the highest price for any related product on the market, and also the most expensive wearable device Apple has ever made.

In addition, it was said that Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Pegatron will exclusively OEM the product for Apple.

In response, Pegatron said that it does not comment on a single customer and product.
