Asia Tech Wire (June 25) -- Apple rejected an offer from Facebook parent Meta Platforms to integrate its AI chatbot into the iPhone a few months ago, according to Bloomberg, citing people familiar with the matter.

The two companies have yet to discuss using Meta's Llama chatbot in an AI partnership, with only brief talks taking place in March, the report said.

Conversations about the partnership have not yet reached a formal stage, and Apple has no active plans to integrate Llama.
