Asian Tech Press (Jan 24) -- Apple Inc. has lost another manager from its self-driving car team, according to the departed executive's LinkedIn profile.
Joe Bass, head of software engineering program management for Project Titan, Apple's secret electric vehicle project, has left the company in December 2021, and jumped ship to Mark Zuckerber's Meta Platforms this month.
The former senior manager of Apple's self-driving car team is now director of technical program management, mixed reality technologies at Meta.
In the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman also confirmed Bass' departure, noting on Twitter that with his departure, "nearly the entire Apple Car management team in place just one year ago is gone."
