Asia Tech Wire (July 22) -- Airbus has touted its A330neo airliners to Saudi Arabia, Vietnam's low-cost airlines, according to Bloomberg.

Citing people familiar with the matter, the report said Airbus was seeking orders for its A330neo airliners at this year's Farnborough Air Show, and its possible buyers include Saudi Arabia's Flynas and Flyadeal, and Vietnam's VietJet Air.

Flyadeal, as a sister company to Saudi Airlines, is close to finalizing an order for 10 to 20 A330neo aircraft, and Flynas, another Saudi low-cost airline, is considering an order for 15 of the aircraft.

In addition, China's Hainan Airlines announced Monday that it took delivery of its first Airbus A320neo aircraft.

Hainan Airlines leased the aircraft from CMB Financial Leasing Co., Ltd. (CMBFL), for which it has four business class seats and 168 economy class seats.
