Asia Tech Wire (July 30) -- Airbus is cutting internal travel and event spending to reduce costs.

As part of the company's cost-cutting efforts, Airbus has limited internal travel and events, according to Bloomberg.

While Airbus still requires customer-facing employees to travel, employees in other departments will need to justify any additional spending, Monday's report said, citing people familiar with the matter.
