Asia Tech Wire (Oct 11) -- European automotive group Stellantis has appointed a new chief operating officer for China, giving it continued responsibility for its ties with Chinese electric car brand Leapmotor.
Stellantis announced a series of senior-level changes on Thursday, naming Antonio Filosa as chief operating officer for North America, as well as CEO of the Jeep brand.
Meanwhile, the company also named Doug Ostermann, former chief operating officer of Stellantis China, as chief financial officer, replacing Natalie Knight, who is leaving the company.
In addition, Grégoire Olivier will serve as COO of Stellantis China and will continue to manage the liaison with Leapmotor.
Stellantis also announced that CEO Carlos Tavares will leave the company at the end of his contract in early 2026, and the company is currently looking for a successor.
