Asia Tech Wire (Oct 18) -- Apple Inc. on Friday announced a donation to China Green Carbon Foundation (CGCF) to create nature conservation training and education opportunities in five national parks in China.

Over the next few months, CGCF will convene a working group, comprised of China's leading universities, research institutions and non-governmental organizations.

The working group will consult with global experts in the field of ecological conservation and restoration to design and implement the new education program, which Apple will support.

Apple and CGCF have previously partnered on a pilot program in Chengdu to explore the potential for nature-based carbon removal in China.
