Asia Tech Wire (July 25) -- Airbus announced a new partnership with Irish aircraft leasing company Avolon at the Farnborough International Airshow on Wednesday to work on the potential of hydrogen-powered aircraft.

This is the first collaboration between ZEROe, a zero-emission commercial aircraft project Airbus launched in September 2020, and a leasing company.

The two companies will examine how to finance and commercialize future hydrogen-powered aircraft and how leasing business models can support hydrogen-powered aircraft development.
