Recently, Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the State Administration for Market Regulation. It has been decided that from now on, some SU7 standard electric vehicles produced from February 6, 2024 to November 26, 2024 will be recalled, totaling 30,931 units (18,410 vehicles with vehicle model BJ7000MBEVR2; 12,117 vehicles with vehicle model XMA7000MBEVR2; 404 vehicles with vehicle model XMA7000MBEVR5). Due to software strategy issues, some vehicles within the scope of this recall may cause abnormal timing synchronization, affect the detection of static obstacles by the smart parking assistance function, increase the risk of scratches or collisions, and pose a safety hazard. Xiaomi Automobile Technology Co., Ltd. will use vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology to upgrade the software for vehicles within the recall scope free of charge to eliminate safety hazards.
