During the 2025 Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain, Intel demonstrated the basic network facilities of the Intel Xeon 6 processor with integrated AI functions. Compared with previous generations of products, the Intel Xeon 6 server processor chip has up to 2.4 times the radio access network (RAN) capacity and 70% performance per watt improvement. The integrated artificial intelligence accelerator improves the performance of AI RAN (artificial intelligence radio access network) by up to 3.2 times. At the same time, through in-depth cooperation with 5G core network solution partners such as Ericsson, Nokia, and Samsung, the implementation of Intel Xeon 6 products in 5G networks has been further accelerated.
