Asia Tech Wire (Feb 21) -- Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg, now CEO of Meta Platforms Inc., plans to visit South Korea at the end of this month, according to Korean media reports.
Notably, this will be the U.S. tech giant's first trip to South Korea in more than a decade, as he last visited the country in June 2013.
Zuckerberg may meet with Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong during his visit to South Korea to discuss AI chip supply and other AI issues, the Korea Economic Daily reported on Wednesday.
In addition, Zuckerberg may also meet with South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol.
