Asian Tech Press (Feb 23) -- Tencent's flagship product WeChat has already supported the ability to send an original 4K video.

Users on Wednesday said that the latest version of the WeChat app now supports sending 4K videos to friends without compression on picture quality, frame rate and more.

However, WeChat does not yet allow sending videos larger than 1GB. In addition, videos sent in the WeChat Moments, known as "Friends' circle" will still be compressed.
