Asia Tech Wire (Sep 3) -- Swedish automaker Volvo will launch in 2025 an electric truck with 600 km range, powered by Samsung batteries.

Volvo announced on Tuesday that it will launch a new long-range version of its FH Electric heavy-duty electric truck next year.

The automaker said a single charge will allow the vehicle to travel up to 600 kilometers.

According to its press release, the new Volvo FH Electric will go on sale in the second half of 2025.

Samsung will supply the batteries for the electric truck, a Volvo spokesperson said.
