Asian Tech Press (Dec 29) -- According to mobile data and analytics company App Annie, the short-video platform Tiktok is at the top of the download charts this Christmas. This data is estimated based on the number of iOS and Google Play stores downloads on December 25.

App Annie notes that the ranking is based on downloads and consumer spending in iOS and Google Play stores, while only iOS data is used in China.

The App Annie data also includes estimates of game downloads on Christmas Day. Other games at the top of the game download chart are Poppy Rope, Subway Surfers, Free Fire, and ROBLOX. The Brain Story game was released on December 21 and has been downloaded heavily due to its recent launch.
