Asia Tech Wire (Sep 2) -- Nicole Iacopetti, TikTok's head of content strategy and policy, is leaving the company in September, according to The Information.

Lacopetti will leave the company on Sept. 6, according to a note sent to some employees by TikTok's head of operations, Adam Presser.

She said she will spend time with her family and focus on exploring opportunities that align with her passion for social change.

Lacopetti previously worked at Disney before joining TikTok in 2020, where she held a number of positions, including chief of staff.
