Asian Tech Press (Nov 25) -- The online banking services of Singapore's DBS Bank, the largest bank in Southeast Asia, reportedly experienced a massive outage starting on the morning of November 23.
After receiving complaints from thousands of customers, the service was disrupted again a few hours after being restored on the 24th. DBS assured customers on the 24th that technical problems were being resolved and that their deposits were "safe." The service outage was the biggest since 2010. DBS is the largest bank in Southeast Asia, with $491.9 billion in assets and more than 24,000 employees.
