Asia Tech Wire (Aug 14) -- Singapore-based online fast fashion giant Shein will build its supply chain headquarters in Guangzhou.

According to the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Planning and Natural Resources, a branch office recently issued all 25 construction project planning permits for Shein's supply chain headquarters.

Shein intends to set up a supply chain center in Guangzhou's Zengcheng District by planning and constructing an intelligent warehousing and logistics distribution park that operates warehousing, stock preparation, picking, distribution, shipping and settlement.

The relevant documents show that the first phase of the headquarters project covers an area of 738 acres, with a total construction area of not less than 800,000 square meters and a total investment of 3.69 billion yuan.
