Asia Tech Wire (July 29) -- Singapore-based online fast-fashion retail giant Shein plans to open its first pop-up store in South Africa in August.

The store will open from August 2 to 11 at the Mall of Africa shopping center in Johannesburg, South Africa.

And the store will only serve as a space to showcase the latest fashion and lifestyle products and will not offer sales.

Customers can try on products at the store and then order them online at a discounted price, Shein said.
