San Diego-based semiconductor company Qualcomm Inc (QCOM: NASDAQ) has reached a long-term agreement with Taiwanese foundry United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC).

According to the agreement, UMC will provide Qualcomm with six years of capacity support, citing industry sources.
