Asia Tech Wire (Nov 8) -- Qualcomm, Intel, Siemens and other companies have participated in Vietnam's semiconductor industry exhibition.
The Vietnam Semiconductor Industry Exhibition 2024, hosted by the Ministry of Planning and Investment and co-organized by the Vietnam National Innovation Centre (NIC) and the Semiconductor Equipment And Materials International (SEMI), officially opened on Thursday.
According to VietnamPlus, this is the first and largest international semiconductor exhibition that Vietnam has ever organized.
The two-day exhibition, with 100 booths, has attracted more than 5,000 delegates from key technology partners in the semiconductor sector, including Qualcomm, Intel, Siemens, Tektronix, FPT, Viettel, as well as representatives from research institutes, higher education institutions, investment funds and business associations in the semiconductor ecosystem.
On this occasion, the NIC and SEMI will sign a cooperation agreement to promote the development of Vietnam's semiconductor industry, VietnamPlus reported.
