Asia Tech Wire (Nov 4) -- Fujifilm Corp. announced last week that it has begun selling materials used in the production of state-of-the-art semiconductors.
These materials are negative-tone EUV resists and EUV developers used in the process of drawing fine circuits on wafers.
With these materials on the market, Fujifilm will be expanding its facilities at existing plants in Japan and South Korea, introducing production equipment and testing devices for quality assessment, as well as a new clean room in South Korea.
Fujifilm did not release details on production capacity and investment amounts, but plans to start production in October 2025.
