Asian Tech Press (Oct 22) -- HarmonyOS is already in use on 150 million devices, an executive from Chinese tech giant Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. said Friday.

Richard Yu Chengdong, CEO of Huawei Consumer Business Group, said Friday at 2021 Huawei Developer Conference (HDC) that HarmonyOS has been on 150 million devices and is expected to been on 200 million ones by the end of this year.

The tech giant also launched the HarmonyOS 3 Developer Preview at the conference, with upgrades focused on several features such as elastic deployment, super terminals, and multiple deployments with one development.

HarmonyOS 3 Beta is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2022.
