Asia Tech Wire (Sep 20) -- General Motors' self-driving unit Cruise plans to resume testing of its robotaxis in the U.S. state of California this fall.
California regulators suspended the company from this service in California last October.
The test will supposedly be smaller, with up to five vehicles undergoing development work under the supervision of test drivers.
Cruise said Thursday that it will conduct the tests in Sunnyvale and Mountain View, and not in San Francisco, where it has faced regulatory roadblocks.
